Remove sensitive information on the shipping label

Your box's appearance should be neutral, with no indication of its value or contents. It's critical not to write the contents or value of your package on the shipping label or anywhere else on the outer packaging.

If you're shipping a watch, don't write "watch" or "timepiece", "timing" or "clock"  on the label.

You can also use the Customs HS Code as a description, which is a nomenclature that only uses numbers to describe the contents of the package. More information about customs HS Codes can be found on Tariff Number.

Always double-check if the name of your company or the recipient does not allude to the contents. If the recipient company's name is "Watches, Jewellery, and Co," change it to "WJ and Co."

Customs and declaration

Secursus does not require you to lie about the contents or value of your package. We simply request that the true value and description be hidden on the outer packaging or label. Our instructions are fully compliant with carrier policies. If a customs form is required, place it beneath the shipping label, and all documents should be placed in a plastic adhesive bag and attached to the package.
